316ti Pipe Stainless Steel

316Ti is an austenitic stainless steel; it is a derivative of 316 stainless steel with titanium stability. Theoretically, 316Ti is type 316, and 321 is type 304. By adding titanium to 316 stainless steel and heating it in the temperature range of 425-815 degree , the intergranular corrosion resistance of 316 stainless steel is enhanced.

In fact, 316Ti has better resistance to pitting corrosion, tensile strength, and yield strength compared to 316L. For special tools or equipment exposed to strong acid corrosion environments such as pickling tanks and support frames, 316Ti is necessary.
